With EDI becoming more accessible for start-up companies it’s no wonder that some of the partners of XEDI have made an appearance on the Dragons Den. Currently, XEDI works with two successors of the Dragons Den. Those being Dee’s Whole Foods and Chikas.

Dee’s Whole Food.

Dee’s Whole Foods was created by Deirdre Collins in 2007. The company has products that use sustainably sourced ingredients to create delicious veggie burgers, veg pots, quinoa pots and a range of veggie sausages. The company also provide a unique range of gluten-free, soy-free and GMO-free products due to a growing global demand.

Dee’s products are now stocked by stores in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates in large retailers including Tesco, Dunnes, SuperValu, Ocado and Waitrose.

Chikas Snacks

Founded in 2013 by Chika Russell, From the hand-picked and individually selected plantains to the hand toasted peanuts which are entirely prepared by hand. Quality and consistency remain at the core of the Chikas’ brand alongside flavour. Each Product brings the taste of Africa with every bite.

The Chikas’ brand appeared on the Dragons Den show and secured £30,000.
